These specially made sifters can be used to sift a very fine line of enamel. They are available in two opening sizes. Only 80 mesh or smaller enamel grains should be used.

Burnishing and Stoning Materials

 
BU-1. Burnisher Great to use when applying silver or gold foil to enamel. Use this tool to smooth the foil on the enamel when your piece is hot. It also is useful in smoothing and curving cloisonné wire. 2-1/2" curved burnisher $8.90 ea.

B-3 Standard Glass Brush Rush fiberglass stick brush. Plastic covering can be cut down to expose brush as needed. Use on metal surfaces to burnish the surface prior to enameling and after grinding to remove any grinding residue prior to refiring work. $30.30 ea.
 
Alundum Stones These stones are speciifically designed to grind glass. They leave no residue that would be injurious upon refire as a Carborundum would.(6"x1"x1")

Diamond Cloth (1" X 4" Strips)
Flexible Diamond Cloth Abrasive. For stoning or abrading enamel, glass, pottery glaze, bisque ware, stone, metal and a variety of other surfaces. Use wet or dry. For cloisonné, plique-a-jour, making a mat surface, removing blemishes such as brick dust, torn areas, runs, etc. Diamonds are micron graded to provide a consistent finish and are bonded to a premium flexible backing material with a metal bond that securely anchors them in place. An open pattern produces aggressive cutting action and reduces loading. Supplied with an adhesive back. If desired, can be bonded to a plastic or other type support.
